Phare Circus

Spend a night at the Phare Circus. Actually, it’s way more than just a circus, it’s theatre, music, dance and modern circus arts that tell unique Cambodian stories. So much energy, emotion, enthusiasm and talent, you’ll be wanting to jump through hoops to join them.

The great part about this experience is the performers all come from Phare Ponleu Selpak’s vocational training centre, located in Battambang. The association was formed in 1994 by 9 young men returning home from a refugee camp after the Khmer Rouge regime.

Through the Phare Circus, students and graduates are offered somewhere to hone their skills as well as a place to earn a decent wage, elevating them out of poverty.

Prices start from US$18 per person
